Tristan W. Reed is a software engineer and scientific researcher with skills in semantic information design and management, data science and process automation.

Education

2014 – 2018: Doctor of Philosophy – Spatial Sciences.
Curtin University – Bentley, Western Australia.
Thesis entitled ‘Improving Search and Discovery of Geospatial Data using Semantic Web Techniques’ proposes and tests methodologies to improve the relevance of search results for geospatial data within catalogue systems for end users, using semantic web techniques. Thesis is still under final construction.

2010 – 2013: Bachelor of Engineering – Software Engineering (with First Class Honours).
Curtin University – Bentley, Western Australia.
Completed a four year engineering degree in Software Engineering, studying topics included but not limited to secure software design and implementation, distributed services, network design and communication, software engineering tools and metrics, software testing, human-computer interface design, basic programming principles.

2011 – 2012: Western Australian Certificate of Education.
Churchlands Senior High School – Churchlands, Western Australia.
Completed my high school leaving certificate with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 99.10. Studied the subjects of English (level 3), Mathematics, Calculus, Physics, Information Technology (level 3) and Computer Science (level 3).
